"Roughing It"

Utah Valley Llamas will be featured in Utah’s most popular outdoor TV show, “Roughing It”, which airs weekly on Channel 2. Shown here are Brian La Turner and Adam Eakle who will join Reese Stein with three of our llamas, Wind, Rama, and Pride, for four days on the Highline Trail. Brian and Adam have rented llamas from us four years in a row, and have been so happy with them that they decided to dedicate a half hour show to the virtues of packing with llamas. Adam interviewed Caru for ten minutes on camera and the rest of the footage will be accumulated during the trek in progress. Show will air on September 1st.

“Roughing It” used to be hosted by the famous Doug Miller. Last year, in fact, while Adam and Brian were out on the trail with our llamas, Doug had a heart attack. That necessitated the llama trip being abbreviated by a day so Adam and Reese could rush to see him in the hospital before he expired.
